Be a Guest on María’s International Video Podcast

As one viewer said,”Your show is an inspiration and a comfort. I can relate to the stories of so many of your guests, and I have learned a number of practical tips. Thank you for sharing amazing content.”

I host a video podcast called from Upside Down to Right Side Up | Tips for the Transition, and I am always looking for inspiring podcast guests to join me.

The show is a series of video conversations with women who share heartfelt and inspiring stories about their upside-down moments. Also, we cover themes related to change and transition. One version of the podcast invites my guests to share their journey, the lessons they’ve learned, and how those lessons have profoundly impacted their lives. In another version, we dig deeply into topics such as creating a resilient mindset, building confidence, and staying relevant in changing times. We’ve also chatted with experts about accepting change, becoming you authentically, finding passion and purpose, and so much more.

We broadcast from our own channel on VoiceAmerica.TV, seen in nearly 70 countries. And, the most exciting part is, each episode is among the most-watched and top-rated on the network. We are creating ripples around the world, so others know they are not alone.

These videos become valuable resources for women who are facing difficult life changes of their own. The heartfelt stories, advice, and tips allow our audience to recognize that others have been where they are and have successfully journeyed to the other end of the tunnel and into the light. I often hear if she can do it, so can I.

My mission is to empower women to thrive

One way I do this is by encouraging women to design a new life when a major event has rocked their personal world. It might be a breakup or divorce, loss of a loved one, a layoff, retirement, or caring for aging parents or a spouse. It is likely not their first transition. But it could be the one that brings them to a breaking point. As a result, these women may want to reach out for help but are reluctant to do so. Likely, hearing from other women who have gone through something similar will be just what they need.

Even strong, successful women can get derailed when life happens. As a result of the conversations with my podcast guests, along with my inspirational email series and the workshops and programs I facilitate as a speaker and coach, I empower women to shift their perspective. With a little time and loving support, women are able to put the emotional trauma behind them.  Then they are ready to create a new foundation from which they regain confidence, self-worth, and dignity. It is from there, they learn to move forward.

Sharing resources for women

First, finding the right resources to help women take any life event in stride is an important part of recovery. Then, those resources can help to start the healing process from the inside out. I am committed to provide women some of those resources and to set a new standard for how women can Thrive for Life.

The first lesson to learn: You don’t have to do this hard life stuff alone. Like Helen Keller said: “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”
